My greatest inspiration comes from God's creation! I love painting South Africa's birds and flowers! I work with watercolour, acrylic paint and digital methods. I use many
of my artwork for stationery products that you can find in my online shop!

Hi there! I'm Claudi Lourens, owner of Claudi Lourens Creative Studio, an art and design studio. I live in South Africa on a beautiful farm, which offers me so much inspiration.

I believe creativity is talent we are called to develop so I strive to do everything with the excellence that is required of me by Colossians 3:23.

My greatest inspiration comes when I'm out in nature. My typical artwork ranges anything from florals, to birds. My style incorporates clean backgrounds with bright watercolor art, as well as black and white digitally sketched art. I sell artwork in my online shop, as well as stationery ranges featuring my artwork.

I find great happiness in creating commissioned artwork that reminds people of places, seasons or feelings they treasure, and partnering with brands that want to add beauty to the world!

I often incorporate art in my branding and other design projects. My favourite clients are upcoming brands and entrepreneurs! Having completed a UX design course in 2021 enables me to use UX concepts in my graphic design work to make the design and process as user friendly as possible.

Currently my goal is to dive into the world of surface pattern design and learn as much about it as I can. I find the idea of combining art and design in this way very intriguing. You can have a look at some of my surface design projects in my Society6 store.

Whenever I'm not busy turning my hobbies into a side hustle you'll find me reading, doing hand lettering, creating art in my Bible or doing photography.
